One star for the appealing scenery, and one star because the game worked fine. If you’re like me and you're excited to see a new Nancy Drew game, I hate to burst your bubble… but I really wouldn’t bother with this one. Here’s hoping that this isn’t indicative of the way the franchise is heading. I was disappointed enough that I almost didn’t bother to finish and that speaks pretty poorly of a $20 game. The lack of coherent narrative made the game hard to navigate, leaving me never entirely sure what I was supposed to be doing next, and while trial and error got me through it wasn’t really worth the effort.
